BarCamp's History

 

BarCamp has now quite an impressive historical record. There is a shared feeling that    this should not be lost and 2 pages can be used to keep track of all the unconferences that happened in the past years:   BarCampPastEvents serves as a temporary parking to re-order the list of worldwide events. To keep the current page short and relevant, cut and paste your updates there as they are superceded or the event happens. BarCampNewsArchive (page is currently locked) keeps tracks of older news updates for past events. This page serves as the historical memory of BarCamp. Events are currently shown there in reverse chronological order.

 

Anti-spam policy

 

           It makes us all sad, but pointers to external pages from the front page will most likely be deleted without notice. Otherwise the page fills up rapidly with difficult-to-detect spam. Since version 2.0 of PBWiki, users can be authorized as 'Writers' or 'Readers'. By default, new users are authorized as 'Writers', accounts conducting inadequate operations will be turned into 'Readers' as a safety precaution. If the change appears unjustified, please contact  the SiteMaintainers to restore the normal rights for the corresponding account.
