What is a BarCamp?

A BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos, and interaction from participants.

The venue is Soda Hall in the Wozniak Lounge.

Organizing a subsequent BarCampBank San Francisco?

• Following Matt's idea, we can start discussing the organization of a potential BarCampBankSF2. No pressure, the page can evolve slowly over time, it's just a good placeholder to start brainstorming.

• In the tradition of BarCamp, when BarCampBankSF2 seems to get enough momentum, we'll move the content of this page to BarCampBankSF1 and give directions to the different wiki pages from this generic BarCampBankSF page.

• BarCampBankSF was co-organized with BarCampBankNewEngland which will take place the following week, on April 5.
• In addition, BarCampMoneyNYC happens on April 12. Others upcoming include BarCampBankDallas and BarCampBankCharlotte.
