It's all laid back, and it's all good.

INTRODUCTION

A Bar Camp is an "un-conference" where people interested in a wide range of issues come together to teach and learn. Unfamiliar with the un-conference format? Here's the idea in a nutshell. Rather than having scheduled speakers, everyone usually pitches sessions the morning of the Bar Camp. are deviating from this practice this year and starting things up late afternoon. Those sessions are put on a schedule, and lots of little groups form for intense group learning. Everyone is expected to teach, to talk, to participate. Yeah, it's different from a regular conference - but it works!

BarCampSignal will be held in conjunction with Signalfest, the Southeast Electronic Music Festival. We are attempting something completely new with music conference workshops. We want to blend the standard Q&A process with the collaborative magic of Bar Camp. You have say as an Artist/Producer, Promoter, or a Fan on how we put this festival and future festivals together.
